Chocolate and Confectionery Company Seeking Loan in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

- Newly incorporated company located in Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia.

- We are planning to set-up an interactive chocolate factory experience for tourists where they can watch the process involved in chocolate making and purchase chocolates.

- Our targeted customers are inbound tourists. Currently, Kuala Lumpur alone has more than 6,000 registered travel agencies that bring in between 500 to 1,000 busloads of tourists to Kuala Lumpur every month.

- According to a report from the Malaysia Tourism Association, last year 25 million tourists visited Malaysia and spent a total of more than RM 80 billion of which RM 5.5 billion was spent on chocolate products.

- We have tied-up with more than 30 Malaysia inbound travel agencies that will include our chocolate center in their tour.

- We are supported by Malaysia Tourism Association. Once the project is completed MTA will mention our business in their Malaysian tourism book and on their website to advertise our business.

- The factory will have a retail store where customers can purchase the products at the end of the tour.

- We would start the operations within 5 months of receiving the funds.

- To date, there are 4 direct competitors that recorded a total average annual revenue of RM 250 million. Next year is Visit Malaysia Year and an even higher number of tourists are projected. The Malaysian government has announced to receive 30 million tourists by next year.

- Extensive market surveys on the business concept as well as the final products have been conducted for the past 6 months and findings are exceedingly positive. Costings have also been carried out with projected P&L for the next 3 years.

- We have also secured the support of potential clients by leveraging promoter's past business connections in this area.

- Business owns chocolate recipe, industry study, business strategy and few equipment.

We would provide a full range of chocolate products. Types of chocolate include artisan chocolate, chocolate with Malaysia tropical fruits, nuts, spices, chocolate spread among others.

Location of the factory has been finalized. It will be on rent with an approximate area of 40,000 sqft located in a prime Kuala Lumpur area.
