Business Overview
Company Overview:
- Our brand name has a play on the Japanese words with a good meaning and started operations on November 4, 2020, when the Philippines recorded almost half a million Covid cases. From being full-time wedding filmmakers and producers, we started a home-based store that offers authentic Japanese takoyaki and ramen.
- It was our fascination for Japanese food that made us create the brand, but it is our love and willingness to help the people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic that made us pursue and establish the company. The company’s drive first centers on sustainability. When the world is in chaos and people have no means of living, establishing a food business that offers affordable Japanese food helped us sustain our livelihood.
- Our food concept came from the traditional “Yatai” or Japanese street food. We wanted to offer something healthy, easy to eat, and cost-efficient food to the market. That's when we came up with Takoyaki and Ramen. From creating our own recipe of sauce and batter to sales and marketing, we created a brand that soon resulted in several branches and franchisees.
- We now have 14 branches including our own outlets and franchisees. Stores include roving mobile carts & small physical stores.
- This is a sole proprietorship business with no liabilities.
- We regularly undertake events and catering orders, which make a good part of our revenue.
