An Indian exporter-backed company that has been in operation for over 7 years seeks investment for gold extraction in Africa, but has yet to begin operations due to financial issues. The company office overheads, travel, geology report & related expenses of Liwale, Kigoma and Singida are over USD 2.5 million and included in exploration outlining of an area with substantial copper, lead, manganese and gold mineralization. In Handeni the company spent over USD 3 million for procuring prospecting mining license, desktop study, geology report, geo-chemicals, trenching and exploration. The company has experienced staff and capabilities to be successful. The refining capacity is up to 5,000 kilograms per month. The company has a lot of buyers ready and they are eagerly waiting for production, very minimum marketing is required for gold commodity. Company has 7 mining areas in Tanzania and 4 mines of copper and manganese is under process. Significant placer deposits in Canada, United States, South Africa, Australia and Brazil, have been the pre-cursor to developing the significant mining industries in those countries. As an initial part of this project, it is less capital intensive, with relatively low-cost operations. The company will complete mine planning, development and initiate production within the next 4 years.
The company is seeking minimum investment of USD 530 million & no cap on upper limit (for equity). The valuation of the company as per the pre-lim assessment (geology report) suggest it to be worth USD 7.5 billion.
Company is strictly against any advance payment for due-diligence, documentation charges etc.
