Through this experience, we have gained a deep understanding of the energy needs of these islands and how to provide sustainable energy solutions to their remote communities.
The first two solar system projects with 40KW and 60KW are ready for installation at two island resorts on Koh Lipe.
Sale of all solar electricity generated by the solar system will be for THB15/KWh (USD0.43/KWh), with a Power Purchase Agreement is for 25 years.
The two solar systems are projected to generate on average USD 53,000 in annual revenues with a profit before tax of USD 41,000.
Additional projects are available to directly follow these two system implementations.
Electricity prices on these islands are about five times higher than on the mainland, enabling us to achieve substantial profits from our projects.
Customers include resorts, businesses, and private residences.
On remote islands, we replace expensive and dirty diesel generator power with cost effective and clean solar power.
This niche market is highly profitable, yielding double-digit annual returns on our investments.
We currently have 500KW of systems fully licensed and ready for installation, and we have a pipeline of 5MW of solar systems planned for installation on islands.
Our solar power solutions support the energy needs of our diverse customer base while contributing to the sustainable development of island communities in Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.
The value of the 2 following island resort projects will be USD 380,000.
A 60 KW off-grid solar system.
A 40 KW off-grid solar system.
All systems are fitted with remote monitoring capabilities, which allows us to remotely meter the power consumption and the system performance.
Installation and Operations Team: Our Thailand-based team manages island projects, including installation and ongoing operations, and is actively involved in sourcing new projects.
Project Capacity: Currently, the plant supports around 500KW of fully permitted island projects ready for installation, with an additional 5MW of projects in the pipeline.
Our facilities are strategically located and equipped to support our innovative solar solutions and operational needs, ensuring efficiency and reliability in our project deployments worldwide.
The first two island projects will be in Ko Lipe, which is the southernmost Thailand island.
