The e-commerce businesses which are sold, are mostly acquired by private investors who are looking to invest in E-Commerce without getting involved with all the day-to-day hassle. By hiring back our firm for the day-to-day operations we’re generating a consistent recurring revenue and our client owns a turnkey, profitable E-Commerce Business without the requirements of working on the business him/herself.
The current owners are looking to exit 20% of their shares to the right partner/investor. The owners maintain majority shareholders and remain in the same role as currently being held.
Financial Highlights:
Strong performance: Over the past 12 months, the business generated $1.3M in revenue and $600K in net profit, with a monthly recurring revenue stream of roughly $15K this revenue which combined with portfolio profits covers 90% of the overhead.
Customer Loyalty: Around 95% of our buyers are hiring our firm after acquisition for the day-to-day operations which results in a healthy and organic recurring revenue stream. This recurring revenue continues to grow with each ecommerce store sold.
Team: The business currently employs 5 FT internal staff members and 3 FT contractors. The 5FT internal staff members are based in Dubai and the 3FT Contractors are remotely located abroad. The business has 2 owners.
How: We acquire, grow & sell e-commerce businesses. We search for opportunities available in the small segment of E-Commerce business through 25 online channels and via direct outreach to business owners, leveraging partnerships and industry networks. Once acquired our in-house team uses a KPI system to reduce costs, increase brand awareness, increase revenue and ultimately the EBITDA. Once the performance is increased our sales team lists the business on 25 channels again for sale followed by an email to our 1,500 internal investors with whom we have established prior connections.
