The plan below demonstrates the business case of the company. This is a social entrepreneur business model intended to energize rural economy by fulfilling Industrial and domestic fuel demand.

1) Encouraging farmers to produce biomass and become a part of the supply chain as a green entrepreneur.

2) Establishing a production house to convert biomass into finished product.

1) Demonstrating the impact of the finished product to village youth thereby encouraging and training them to setup Green Entrepreneurial activity. This fuel shall then be supplied to industries and domestic setups (micro consumers), thus energizing the economy of the village.

During the 5 years plan GLBPL is going to setup 75 production units in different villages along with its own in house production and demonstration setup. As the facility begins operation at the capacity of 8540 tons of biomass pellets/briquettes annually, sales and expenses shall increase throughout the forecasted period. The operating profit will be US$ -17480 in the first year to the US$608450 in the fifth year of operation.

This shall create self employment opportunity for 1330 individuals as well as boost the economy of more than 1500 farmers working as green entrepreneurs. A network of green entrepreneur will sustain the supply of biomass and will work directly for the conservation of the environment thus reducing GHG impact.

GLBPL will act as a central coordinating body which will keep a tab on the Quality of the pellets and assure consistent supply of bio-mass.

Technology for densification of biomass into pellets and briquettes is being further refined to serve emerging, remote biomass-to-energy conversion facilities.

The total project cost is $603,500, and we are looking for capital investment worth $499,300. Half of the capital will come from equity investors with the other half coming from debt financing amortized over 5 years at 12%. No government grants were assumed in this business plan, which allows this business to stand on its own commercial merit. For now we want to raise Rs. 50 Lakh through this specific transaction.

The company started operation with the following product range as direct revenue source.

1) Biomass briquettes to fulfill industrial demand.

2) Biomass pellet to fulfill commercial as well as domestic fuel need.
