Norwegian company plans to setup renewal energy plant in Asian and Sri Lanka by establishing tie-up with a local company. This proposal is to invite investors / buyers for the Sri Lankan project.
It's a new type of tested renewable green energy power plant of 5 MW which does not require any fuel input thereby reducing operational and service cost. We have access to permits, land (1,500 sq mt) and Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA), but need local company or investor to realize the project. The project can return an IRR of 22% with payback period of 5-6 years.
Our company has had the initial discussion with the Sri Lankan government and as per the talks, we would be allotted 1,500 sq mt of land. The city is yet to be finalized. Our plan is to sell this project rights to Sri Lankan company at the offered price where we would do the EPC of the plant for them. Post EPC, the buyer would need to run the operation.
