This source code was intended for a promising social media platform that allows users to compare photos and videos. Users can vote on important aspects of posts in addition to liking them. (i. e. Twitter & Instagram combined).

At the time of its completion 6 years back, it did draw a lot of interest from the media and fashion industries and raised USD 120k in seed funding.

The venture, however, came to a standstill because of the founder's health issues.

Some key functionalities:

- Each user would be able to post multipicture queries (up to six pictures/videos comparisons), pick points posts (points to tap on/vote on the image itself), and yeah/nah questions, which let one simply ask your followers whether they agree with someone on a given subject (for pictures and videos).

- The app also has a commenting system with the ability to like and dislike comments as well as a gamification feature that allows users to earn "stars" and move up the profile ladder.

- Such a polling system has countless applications and so are the chances for monetization.

Can be monetized through advertising and companies can use the app for strengthening brand engagement. This includes:

- Market and statistical research, which is more unbiased than surveys. Natural or through influencers.

- Real-time user feedback (launches of current and upcoming products and services)

- Data collection.

- Immediate understanding of user preferences.

- Higher advertising click rate than normal ads due to core functionality e. g. vote to know.

Languages used in the code:

- The frontend is written in Swift and it needs modifications to run on the latest iOS versions.

- The backend is written in Java, using Rest API.

Java 8, Spring, Hibernate JPA.

- The database is Postgre SQL 9.5.

- The Java app runs in Wildfly 9.2.

- AWS to host backend AWS S3.

- AWS SNS for push notification.

- AWS RDS as the database server.

- AWS EC2 app server.

The app is available only on iOS.
