- Our business is essentially a franchise-owned waffle store that offers a wide range of delicious products to its customers. - We receive about 40 orders daily out of which 25 are through direct walk-ins and the other 20 are through online platforms like Swiggy and Zomato. - The waffle store has a seating capacity of 10 to 12 people at one given time. 60 percent of the company's total revenue is generated from direct walk-ins and the remaining is by fulfilling orders received from online portals. - The owner paid INR 5 lakh as an initial franchise fee for buying the franchisee. Post commencing operations, the franchisor charges 6 percent of the company's top-line revenue every month as a royalty fee. There is no franchise renewal fee that has to be paid in the future. - This transaction includes the registered business entity, transfer of the franchise agreement to the prospective buyer's name along with all the physical assets. The selling price includes the initial franchise fee paid by the owner as well. Post purchase, the buyer can continue the royalty arrangement with the franchisor.

Waffle stories is one of Bangalore’s first exclusive waffle stores serving freshly baked waffles. We sold our first batch of waffles at Sunday Soul Sante in 2013. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, we opened our first Waffle Stories outlet in July 2014. Since then we have expanded to a network of 6 outlets in Bangalore. We have also recently launched ice-creams frozen using liquid nitrogen. We have built a strong brand and are currently looking to sign on franchise partners to expand into other parts of India.
