Search Fund in Chicago Looking to Buyout Businesses Upto USD 50 million

My background is in electrical engineering and I have been working as an electrical engineer for the past 7 years. I have been involved involved in multiple medium and high voltage substation projects. I was responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers to successfully complete projects in time and within budget.

I have an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I have been searching for a little over a year and I am connected to investors, lenders, advisors and I am ready to close a deal as soon as I find the right company. If the deal is small enough I will fund it with an SBA loan and my own equity. If the deal is for a business with more than $2M in EBITDA, I will work with the investors I have in my network to acquire the business.

I am a searcher looking to acquire and grow a business located in Illinois that offers a product/service which is mission critical to the customers. I am looking for a business with a minimum of $500,000 in EBITDA (EBITDA range $0.5-10M), predictable cash flows, history of growth and a proven management team in place. I absolutely reject sellers who are not honest, respectable, who wear all the hats in the business and are not operating at the highest level of integrity.
