Newly Established Waste Management Company Equity Stake For Sale in Aberystwyth, UK

The company has developed a modular catalytic hydrothermal gasification platform that converts municipal solid waste and organic feedstocks into renewable, carbon‑neutral energy vectors (methane, hydrogen, formic acid) and chemical building blocks (methanol, olefins) for plastics regeneration. Complementing this, material sorting lines produce recyclable plastics, metals, paper, card, wood, and glass upgraded to market specifications. Target customers include waste management companies, material recovery facilities, energy providers, and transport fleets seeking low‑carbon fuels and circular polymer feedstocks. Intangible assets: Proprietary integrated biorefining and catalytic hydrothermal gasification know-how protected as trade secrets; process designs; engineering drawings; operating procedures; and accumulated R&D data. The IP is retained and monetised via design-build-operate contracts, modular system sales and royalties, while the company or its SPVs operate and service installed modules to protect IP integrity.
Tangible assets will consist mainly of R&D equipment and laboratory infrastructure at its research facilities, with a future leased technology and manufacturing centre planned but not yet constructed. Planned development of a 1,768 m² technology and manufacturing centre in North East Lincolnshire, UK, on an enterprise site owned by Associated British Ports (ABP). The unit will be built to our design by the landlord as a leasehold facility with an expected annual lease of about GBP 200,000. The site will house industrial R&D laboratories and manufacturing/assembly lines for modular hydrothermal gasification units. Current R&D activities are based at Plas Gogerddan, Aberystwyth, Wales, and a research address in Montpellier, France. The business has been funded by the two founders, current shareholders and various grants, with about GBP 2.4M invested over 20 years. The company carries no debt. Equity is 100% held by the two founders, split 75% to the managing director and 25% to the co-founder. Future funding is expected through equity co-investment and project SPVs while retaining ownership of core IP.
