We are one of the oldest and leading tea manufacturers in the Nilgiris, where we produce high-quality tea powders. We produce normal tea and green or white tea. we are into expansion and looking for export opportunities. The tea is procured from tea estates close to our factory and we produce 5 MT of tea every day. We then wholesale the processed tea to private companies and the government. We have seen higher demand this year, last year procurement was low across all clients. We have 6 permanent employees whereas the other workers work on an ad-hoc basis. Now we need funds to expand. We are applying for ISO and have good records and the return on investment is best compared to other industries. Our unit has fully automated machinery.

Our business is engaged in processing and roasting of coffee and tea. Majorly focusing on coffee as of now. - We are currently importing coffee beans from Africa. We have tied-up with contacts in Africa for the same. - Process and roast the coffee in Norway and we have a processing capacity of 20 ton of coffee per year. - We are supplying to coffee shops, breweries, and dealers. Have a customer database of 100 customers. - Business has no outstanding loan and is run by a sole owner. - We are working with Averøy municipality today, where we have great support. We also work closely with Innovation Norway. We now have fixed agreement with the Britannia Hotel in Trondheim for all coffee products. - We did not report any revenue last year as we had problems with our first delivery from Africa and our goods were delayed by 6 months due to Covid.

ORU Roasters started in Kuwait about 4 years ago as a wholesaler of roasted coffee beans and grew dramatically. - The manufacturing for the products were outsourced. Our company supplies coffee to several countries such as Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar under our own brand name. - Last year, ORU roasters opened its doors to walk-in clients and started a retail business as a high-end & premium coffee shop. - Our coffee shops have luxury furnishing, exquisite products, and comfortable furniture that guarantee a fulfilling customer experience.

We had leased the business for 10 years from the government and have been operating it successfully for the last 5 years, with 5 years to go. - We process raw tea leaves into a tea ready for use. - Have tie-ups with a large number of businesses for sales of our product and most of the sales are done through brokers. - The company is looking to acquire sick tea estates in the nearby area and seeks investment for the same. - Promoters are willing to offer bank cheques as a security if required.

Our company cultivates rosemary and then manufactures & supplies a broad range of rosemary-based products to our customers under our own brand name. - Currently, we have about 6 rosemary-based products packaged and selling under our brand name. Rosemary-based tea and meat curry powder contribute to about 70 percent of the company's total revenue. - Each product comes under 3 to 4 different size variations. We sell our products directly to about 200 independent supermarkets and grocery store owners across Sri Lanka. This is the only source of revenue for our company. - We receive about 15 to 10 purchase orders every month of varied sizes are utilising about 70 percent of the total production capacity. - We cultivate about 6,000 kilograms of rosemary every month. All the plantations are then brought back to our production unit where they are manufactured, processed, and packaged into the final products. We do not sell rosemary plantations anywhere else. We have part-time employees who look over the growth of the plantations. - The revenue has decreased this year due to the operational difficulties caused by the pandemic. The pandemic did not allow us to effectively plant our rosemary plantations and carry out production.
