Preferred sectors and characteristics: Established businesses with 3+ years of verifiable financials and consistent EBITDA of a minimum of 15 to 25% Revenue range: USD 500 thousand to 10 million (comfortable up to USD 3 to 4 million acquisitions) Sectors I particularly like: – Transportation & logistics (taxi fleets, trucking, last-mile delivery) – Hospitality (hotels, hostels, short-term rentals, cafes/restaurants) – IT services, software, ecommerce, light manufacturing, retail chains. – Service-based businesses with corporate contracts or recurring revenue. Businesses that can support an investor/business visa or golden visa application (especially in Germany, Greece, and Latvia) Low owner dependency, professional management/team already in place or easy to hire. Real estate-backed businesses (company owns property) are a big plus. Reasonable valuation (preferably below 4 to 5 times EBITDA) What I dislike/avoid: - Startups or pre-revenue companies. - Heavily seasonal businesses or those dependent on government contracts/subsidies. - Businesses with legal disputes, tax issues, or unclear ownership structure. - High employee turnover industries (nightclubs, pure construction without recurring clients) - Businesses where the owner must stay involved full-time for years. - Over-leveraged companies or those with heavy bank debt.
