We also evaluate unit economics and the path to profitability. Even if the business is early-stage, there must be a realistic plan to generate sustainable cash flows. Scalability and market size are important, as we prefer businesses that can grow without costs increasing proportionally. Finally, we look for a competitive advantage, whether through brand, technology, or network effects.
We tend to like SaaS and essential-service businesses because of their recurring revenue and predictable demand. On the other hand, we are cautious about businesses that rely heavily on hype, burn excessive cash without a clear monetisation strategy, or operate in overly commoditised markets where differentiation is minimal. We are currently exploring collaborations with organisations that demonstrate strong leadership, growth potential, and a commitment to long-term value creation.
