Professional Summary
I am a Houston-based mechanical engineer and operator with a focus on building and scaling engineered products and field-deployed systems. My background spans offshore and marine equipment, end-to-end product development (concept to prototype to trials), supplier and manufacturing execution, and operational leadership. I am the founder of a robotics solutions and I also work with an offshore group in a technical leadership and sales capacity.
How I help businesses grow: I strengthen operational cadence (KPIs, SOPs, quality/compliance systems), improve risk and control frameworks (especially AML/KYC where applicable), professionalise documentation and reporting for lenders/investors, and drive practical growth levers such as new channels/partnerships, multi-branch performance management, and process digitisation while protecting compliance and margins.

Investment Criteria
I look for regulated, cash-generative businesses with clean compliance history, transparent financials, and clear growth levers. For this opportunity, I prefer payment services, money services (FX/remittance), and B2B transaction platforms with valid licenses, strong AML/KYC controls, stable recurring volumes, and defensible relationships (banks, corridors, agents, merchants).
Key factors: 3 to 5 years verifiable financials (preferably audited), consistent margins and positive cashflow, low leverage, realistic valuation versus earnings, durable customer demand, operational depth beyond the owner, and a clear path to scale (new outlets, digital channels, product expansion) without creating regulatory risk.
Businesses I like: Compliant, well-run financial services and infrastructure-style businesses (payments, remittance, FX, SaaS enabling transactions) with systems/processes and measurable unit economics.
Businesses I avoid: Companies with weak compliance controls, unclear source of funds, heavy customer concentration, unverifiable revenue, ongoing disputes, or license-only deals where value cannot be transferred cleanly or scaled under regulator expectations.
From an investor/acquirer perspective, I take a disciplined, execution-focused approach. I prioritise clean documentation and controls, measurable unit economics, and strong governance in regulated environments. While my early deals have been centred on building businesses, purchasing operating assets, and contracting/negotiating with vendors and manufacturers, I am now actively pursuing acquisitions/partnerships (USD 100 thousand to USD 2 million) in Malaysia, as I am familiar with the location. I have a preference for licensed money services / FX/remittance / payment-related businesses and other operationally defensible B2B services.
