I am leading an organization with a pan-India presence and have deep know-how in P&L management, scaling up businesses, and networking with various industry bodies at the macro and micro levels, including, but not limited to, the logistics and sports sector, government bodies, and investors. I have done PGDM from SP Jain Institute of Management and University of Austin Texas on ML and AI, plus various courses from institutes like IIMA.

Acquiring / Buying a Business, Investing in a Business

The factors I consider in a business are -
1. Having healthy EBITDA. The contribution margin & CM1 should be in line.
2. Founders having deep insight into their domain.
3. Founders not wanting to sell cause of failure/fear of failure.
4. Asset light in terms of fixed assets but the underlying value of the business at the customer level or tech should be good.
5. Should have hit MVP if a new startup.
6. Location preference should be Maharashtra, Tier 1 cities, and Tier 2 max limited to places like Indore, Chennai, etc as the location is not a constraint.
