Individual Investor in Santo Domingo Looking to Invest in Food & Beverage Businesses Upto USD 170 thousand

I am a finance coordinator at a food production company based in the Dominican Republic. I have completed CFA Level I and a Master’s in Management from Georgetown University. I am in the process of opening an investment fund focused on acquiring stakes in operating businesses. My background in finance and accounting allows me to support portfolio companies with financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis while providing capital for growth and professionalising financial management.

Investing in a Business

I am looking for well-priced businesses with several years of operation, EBITDA margins above 25%, and no debt, ideally keeping existing management in place. Prefer opportunities where I can take either majority or minority equity stakes. I tend to avoid highly leveraged companies or businesses with weak profitability and low EBITDA margins. I prefer businesses in Colombia as the location is not a constraint.
