We are looking to invest in companies with a commodities focus. Our expertise is in trading, so a commodities trading house or brokerage would fit particularly well. However, we would also consider midstream and downstream assets and companies in the commodities value chain (transport, processing, production etc. ) We are specifically interested in companies with established and profitable operations; physical operations in energy, metals or agriculture are a plus. Our aim is to take an equity stake (partial/majority). We would consider companies located in any of the major commodity trading hubs (Switzerland/Dubai/SE Asia etc. ). Trading or business/investment activity in emerging markets is desirable.
