- I like companies with experienced employees, strong client relationships, technical know-how, certifications or qualifications, and owners willing to support an orderly transition.
- I generally avoid highly distressed businesses, companies with persistent negative cash flow, excessive debt, major litigation, extreme customer concentration, businesses entirely dependent on the founder, or sectors where I cannot add meaningful industrial or managerial value.
