Individual Investor in San Diego Looking to Invest in Technology Businesses Upto USD 2 million

I started in working in the car business at an early age. Over the years I learned every aspect of the business. I worked in sales, finance, accounting, service, and eventually became general manager. I then moved into the digital marketing space and partnered with a well known marketing celebrity. I also partnered with the same person on a software company. Now I have people running all of my companies and I'm looking for investment opportunities that can generate a bigger return than typical stock market returns of 20% per year in the US and European countries. I also can be a huge contributor on the marketing front for the products by leveraging my digital marketing agency to help grow the business via SEO, paid media & conversion optimization. I also just love business and entrepreneurship.

Investing in a Business

I look mainly for a few things:

- EBITDA 25% or above (need to have enough profit margins to invest in business)

- Customer perceived value (If e-commerce, I want to know return customer purchase %. If SaaS I want to know LTV of a customer. This will tell me how good a product is)

- Stability. How long have they been in business?

- Owners commitment and passion (How much do they care about the business? Do they have a vision for growth?)

- Marketable product.
