I mainly look for businesses that are already established, profitable, and able to operate without depending heavily on the owner’s daily involvement.

The key factors I consider are:

- A proven track record of at least three years.
- Stable and recurring revenue.
- Positive cash flow and clear financial records.
- Experienced management already in place.
- Limited operational complexity.
- Low dependence on one employee, supplier, or customer.
- Strong reputation and repeat customers.
- Clear potential for growth without major additional investment.
- Reasonable valuation and a realistic return on investment.
- Proper licences, contracts, and legal compliance.
- Stable operations and reliable management in place.

I am particularly interested in businesses such as self-storage, managed holiday rentals, property management, serviced apartments, established laundromats, car parks, automated car washes, logistics-related businesses, and businesses with subscription or recurring-income models.

I may also consider established restaurants, cafes, gyms, beauty businesses, or retail concepts, but only when they have strong management, proven profitability, and do not depend on the owner being present every day.

I generally avoid newly established businesses, highly seasonal concepts, businesses with weak or unclear accounts, cash-heavy businesses with limited controls, businesses depending on one key person, and restaurants or nightlife businesses that require constant supervision.

For Marbella specifically, I am looking for a well-established business with reliable management and minimal supervision required from my side.
