Biomass Power Plants Seeking Loan

1. Located in Nakorn Sawan, 250 km North of Bangkok, Thailand. 2. Founded, owned, and operated by a 56-year-old Thai engineer with extensive experience and a strong industry reputation. 3. The power plant capacity is 10 MW while the PPA is 9 MW. The tariff is composed of 3 components: base tariff, Ft, and the adder. 4. These make the total tariff as high as THB 7/kWh in the first 7 years which is so called the adder period. 5. After the adder period, the plant will enjoy a lifelong of selling the electricity due to no contract ending stated in the PPA. 6. Operation is held by the local Thai team of technicians and engineers. 7. ​ The​ capacity of​ the​ plant can​ make​ sales of upto THB 450 million/year and​ the​ projected net profit is​ THB 220 million​/year. ​ Due to​ the​ obstruction from​ other shareholders, the​ figure is​ below the​ target. ​ That's the​ reason for​ seeking a loan​ to​ buy the​m out. Due to this the sales have declined and are expected to make a recovery upon receiving the funding.
