Octaves Music Centre started operations 5 years back, in Manikonda, Hyderabad, with a focussed mission statement to provide holistic music classes covering all aspects & levels, to each & every music lover, aspirant, student, child and adult, at the most reasonable cost. True to form we have trained more than 2,000 students till date, & have very high ratings from our truly delighted students who have expressed their opinions on social media and search platforms like Justdial & Google. Currently, we offer instrumental classes, as well as vocal classes for Western, as well as Indian music. We have a faculty team of 6 members, each one of them truly being a master in their respective fields. We have a very positive word of mouth, in the communities around where we are based, which has helped us retain our position and even grow, in spite of competition springing up now and then. We started with one floor measuring 2,000 sqft, but within a year and a half, we have added one more floor for our operations. - The franchisee should have acumen, energy & passion to personally run the business. Music knowledge will be of advantage and not mandatory.
- Should have a pleasing personality with a calm demeanour to deal with students of all age groups. Previous experience of managing schools will be an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Ability to grasp customer expectations quickly, and quick communication inwards will be an essential skill.
- Should be patient enough to see through lean / non-seasonal periods of business downturns.
- Managing employees team diplomatically is absolutely essential as, in the music industry, demand for good music teachers is always more than supply.
- Need basic accounting knowledge and should ensure legal & statutory compliance.
- Franchisee will need to take care of all opex, like salaries, rents, electricity bills, phone, internet, and all other operating costs.
After expiry of initial contract term of 2 years, Franchisee has option to renew for further two years against a lump-sum Royalty payment of Rs 5 lakhs, or monthly royalty of 15% on gross revenues will be applicable. - We will locate, lease, & provide the premises to the franchisee for operations. We will take care of basic Capex like advance towards premises, provide all necessary music instruments, furniture, air conditioning as required. The franchiser will provide trained faculty members to take care of classes.
- Franchisor will provide fixed advertising costs like glow signs, premier listing on all popular search engine sites.
- We guarantee a minimum net ROI of 48% on Rs 10 lakh of initial upfront investment plus the investment back in 24 months time, else the franchisor will reimburse the difference to the franchisee if any.
- The franchisor will not charge any other fees during the first 24 months.
If contract is renewed further, royalty will be applicable either as one time up front payment, or as fixed percentage on monthly gross revenue.
ROI reimbursement will not be applicable after initial 24 months.
