Acquiring / Buying a Business

I am actively seeking to acquire a small, established Canadian IT services or consulting firm with existing government client relationships. Our ideal target has 5 to 15+ years of operational history and serves federal, provincial, or municipal government clients. I am particularly interested in firms where the current owner is considering an exit or transition, businesses with stable but flat growth, and companies with outdated technology stacks with opportunities for modernisation. Geographic preference is Manitoba and the Canadian Prairies, followed by Ottawa and the rest of Canada.
