I was a Project Manager at an IT company and am based in Los Angeles. I have experience acquiring and operating online businesses and am currently looking for my next investment opportunity to expand my portfolio. My portfolio spans the education, software, and content sectors, with my flagship investment being an accredited continuing education business serving licensed professionals. I bring hands-on expertise in marketing and business growth. Most of the businesses I have acquired were operational but under-marketed. I specialize in improving organic search visibility, managing paid acquisition campaigns across Google and Meta, and implementing effective email marketing and sales funnel systems to maximize the value of existing customer bases. I am looking to actively participate in the growth of the business and add long-term operational value.

Acquiring / Buying a Business, Investing in a Business

- I look for three things. A moat that isn't the founder's personality, accreditation, ISO certification, sworn/certified status, a licensing barrier, or a genuine brand. Organic demand I can measure, rather than a business that only exists while the ad account is switched on. And evidence the asset is under-marketed rather than under-performing, because my edge is applying marketing to something that already works.
- Businesses I like: certified and regulated professional services where credentials create a real barrier to entry, certified translation being the clearest example, accredited education and continuing-education platforms, and software products with repeat purchase behavior. I've bought and operated in the latter two categories.
- I buy to hold, not to flip, so durability matters to me more than a headline multiple.
