Marine logistics firm looking to raise funds to buy a cargo vessel.
Firm is looking to raise funds to buy a cargo vessel which has the capacity to transport general cargo. It's an old vessel which is well maintained and is currently in operation. We have already spoken to the seller and they have agreed to sell their vessel. We are inviting investors who can fund us either in the form of debt or equity. We would also be open for any other proposal that an investor proposes. The investor can expect an IRR of about 34%. After acquiring the vessel, we will lease it out to a well established ship management company based in Chennai. We have already made a 7-year agreement with them. The vessel specializes in the transportation of all types of cargo except oil. Our vessel will be primarily used for transportation of coal in the domestic and international locations. Firm is managed by 2 partners who are professionally qualified in the field of marine and shipping. They are well connected with maritime fraternities. Have already done the ground work and we need not go for head hunting and marketing to kick-start our business. Complete project details along with revenue projection for 5 years will be made available upon request. Firm was incorporated in 2016 in Goa and since then we have not started our operations due to lack of funds for this project. Business does not own any physical assets.
