Business Overview
- We are currently in the pre-revenue phase and are planning the development of a heritage museum.
- We have created a comprehensive project and business plan for a 15–20 hectare archaeological and historical open-air park and museum near Rome, Italy.
- The land needs to be purchased.
- Our concept is inspired by a successful existing park in the Netherlands and is backed by extensive market research in Italy.
- We possess in-house expertise in both the construction and operation of the park.
- The project has received support from the Italian Ministry of Culture and various archaeological organizations.
- During both the development and operational phases, we will collaborate with institutions and archaeological research departments from countries that were once part of the Roman Empire.
- First-year revenue is projected at EUR 13 million, primarily from ticket sales and on-site purchases.
- We estimate around 400,000 paying visitors in the first year. Rome attracts approximately 38 million tourists annually, providing a strong potential client base.
- The business is registered as a private limited entity.
Products & Services Overview
Our potential customers, tourists visiting Rome, are more than 30 million per year. We plan our park to be open 295 days per year and can therefore count on a steady, continuous revenue and profit for our investor. We will offer our potential customers a full day of entertainment in an environment with historical structures, superbly reconstructed to recreate the past and by offering them a range of live performances, including cavalry and dramedy shows and other historical reenactments. The shows and the many artisans that will work in the park will give demonstrations aimed at entertaining the public. These demonstrations and the planned museum will also inform them more about the amazing ability and technology of the Romans and the people who lived along the 7,000 km long border of the Roman Empire. A modern museum with a conference facility will be constructed inside the park, it will be developed in collaboration with the 17 contemporary Roman Limes countries and will feature curated exhibitions concerning the people who lived along the Limes or Roman border in pre-Roman and Roman times. The museum will connect our park with institutions in these 17 contemporary countries in Europe and Africa, which is also why the Italian Ministry of Culture supports our plans to create the park. We also foresee 120 room four-star hotel accommodation, and a selection of restaurants, contemporary and Roman street food. Our park is based on and benchmarked on a profitable running, similar but smaller historical theme park in the Netherlands that during its top days receives 1,200 paying customers per day.
