Professional Summary
I am the executive vice chairman of a listed company founded in 1971. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California (1987) and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Hull, UK (1993). My career began in 1987 as a plant manager, where I underwent practical training in manufacturing liquefied petroleum gas pressure vessels for the oil and gas industry. With over 36 years of experience in the iron and steel sector, I have played a key role in shaping Masteel’s corporate strategies, including business expansion, corporate planning, and operations. Additionally, I serve on the Board of Bio Molecular Industries Sdn Bhd, a strategic joint venture between Masteel and Curium International S. A. , a global leader in radio pharmaceuticals. The company specialises in radiopharmaceutical production, particularly fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) radioisotopes for Positron Emission Tomography (PET/CT) scans.
