Starting a franchise outlet of a popular bakery brand which is well known internationally. Our company is not yet registered and we are yet to enter into a formal agreement with the franchisor. After raising funds, we would register our company and enter into a formal agreement with the franchisor. This franchise brand does not have any outlet in Switzerland and we plan to become the first company to introduce their brand in Switzerland. We plan to start with 1 outlet and then expand by opening more outlets in future. After entering into the franchise agreement, the franchisor will set up the interiors, provide us the baking machine and supply the raw materials regularly. We don't have to pay royalty to the franchisor, rather we would buy the raw materials from them at a discount. To take up their franchise, we only have to pay a one time franchise fee of CHF 2,000. We have identified an upscale street in Geneva where we plan to set up our outlet. It will be a takeaway facility on a small area of 20-30 sq mt. In order to rent out the facility, we need to pay a goodwill of CHF 200,000 to the landlord. The funds we plan to raise will largely be used for paying this goodwill to the landlord.
