Business Overview
- Seek funds to acquire the franchisee of a well-reputed Indian chain of apparel retailers in the mid and upper-mid income segment at an attractive location. It is an iconic and reliable brand known to provide stellar returns.
- Expected annual sales of INR 12 crore in the first year of operations.
- Stake is being offered in this project and not in the existing business. We are the franchisee owners of Lakme Academy, a make-up and beauty training institute brand, at 5 locations.
- Post-funding, we will spin a separate entity for the retail store.
- The franchisor will handle the construction, interior designing and will also provide the furniture for the store. The store will be fully ready when it is handed over to us. We will need to pay INR 6 crore to the franchisor out of which INR 4.8 crore will be contributed by us and the remaining INR 1.2 crore will be provided by the investor. This payment of INR 6 crore also includes the brand fee.
- The store will be ready in the next 3 months.
- We will pay a royalty of 20% for an annual turnover of INR 15 crore, 25% for INR 15-25 crore and 16% for revenue above INR 25 crore.
- Promoter has over 5 years of experience in this industry.
