Different types of Solar PV Trackers suit every season and geographical location. 1. 2-Axis Solar Tracker (AT 2X): - A. It has two simultaneous movements i. e East to West and North to South. Maintaining the angle of incidence close to a right angle. B. It overcomes the design shortcomings of available conventional horizontal single-axis trackers by addressing all seasons of the year. C. Can be installed at ANY geographical location across the Globe for consistent performance. D. Higher Yield compared to any type of single-axis tracking system. 2. Tilted Single Axis Tracker (AT 1XT): - A. Only one movement from East to West. B. Panels are mounted at an angle towards the South, depending upon the location. C. Installation away from the equator will give better results compared to conventional HSAT. D. Require land equivalent to any conventional SAT. 3. Horizontal Single Axis Tracker (AT 1XH): - A. Only one movement from East to West. B. Panels are mounted horizontally to the ground. C. Installation only along the line of the Equator will give better performance. As we move away from the equator, its performance will deteriorate gradually. D. By virtue of its design, the pitch between the trackers is NOT required except for pathways.
